This directory became a business resource that provided a single point of contact for ethnic minorities, women, veterans and other disadvantaged business owners seeking information to start, sustain and grow their business. His services helped per-venture startup and existing businesses acquire the tools they need to break down the barriers that may impede growth for the small, diverse business. After years of contemplation and having the goal of launching a real estate development company benefiting his community, Community Development Partnership LLC has now begun. Remaining true to his humble Lansing beginnings, Neil is firmly dedicated to working with majorcorporations and partners to bring jobs, high-quality homes and services to undeserved citizens.

Thomas Hendricks, the COO of Community Development Partnership LLC, has participated in a wide range of diverse, new and adaptive reuse development and construction projects throughout Michigan and northwest Ohio. After graduating from Michigan State University with a degree in Economics and Mathematics, he became involved in the redevelopment efforts in Lansing, Michigan. His first endeavor involved developing and acquiring a grant through the Michigan Community Revitalization Program for a mixed-use development project located in Old Town. This development later spurred new residential units and retail space. Currently, he is a Commissioner on the East Lansing Historic District Commission. He is also a member of Pinecrest Condominiums serving as Vice President and Treasurer of the Housing Owners Association. Thomas now plans to apply his diverse leadership experiences to help Community Development Partnership LLC advance their mission through advocacy.
